Open Gardens

Some of our members open their gardens to the public. Unsurprisingly perhaps, the gardens tend to feature lots of splendid examples of hostas and/or hemerocallis.

Some of these members have kindly agreed to admit other members free of charge, or to open on specific days to allow BHHS members to view their garden at times when, we hope, their hosta or hemerocallis will be close to their best. They may also welcome members at other times by prior appointment,

The openings were somewhat curtailed in 2020, although a few did take place. We hope for better times in 2021 and as we receive details of openings, we will publish them on this page.

If members would like their open gardens to be published on the site, please e-mail
