Our aims

To increase knowledge about Hosta and Hemerocallis (daylilies), we

• answer botanical and cultural queries
• give advice on the control of pests and diseases
• publish information concerning Hosta and Hemerocallis
• operate a library service for literature

To foster interest in the cultivation of Hosta and Hemerocallis, we

• exhibit at shows
• arrange lectures, visits and exhibits
• advise on varieties and their availability
• encourage regional groups

To preserve the history of Hosta and Hemerocallis, we

• record old varieties and register them
• trace old varieties
• work closely with Plant Heritage (formerly the NCCPG) and other societies and individuals
